Auto DM Instagram: How to Setup Automated Direct Messages Compliantly
Instagram DM Automation
Use MyLynq's native tools to solve this workflow directly with zero code.
Why Auto DM Instagram Is the Highest-Converting Funnel
Traditional social marketing directs viewers to 'link in bio', but mobile users rarely navigate away from their feeds to click a profile link. Auto DM Instagram transforms passive viewers into active prospects. When a follower comments a specific trigger keyword (such as 'INFO' or 'ACCESS') on your Reel or post, the system automatically sends a private message with the exact link they requested.
The Mechanics of Official Meta Webhooks
Rather than scraping pages or maintaining persistent browser sessions, compliant automation platforms subscribe to Meta Graph API webhook events. The moment a comment is published, Meta dispatches a payload to the application server. The server verifies the token, checks the trigger keyword, applies randomized response delays, and dispatches the DM using the official Send API.
Boosting Follower Growth with Follower Gating
Auto DM campaigns can be supercharged using follower gating. With follower gating enabled, the system checks whether the commenter follows your profile before delivering the link. Non-followers receive a polite prompt encouraging them to follow, converting viral engagement into permanent audience growth.
